"Home is where on starts from ..." invites us in to artist Karen Stone's ongoing exploration of the emotional legacy of childhood memories of home.  Through imagery, materiality, process and conversation, Karen undertakes a personal search for the meaning of home - as a single, older, non-home owning woman. Karen uses the process of creating the large-scale paper works to pose questions around how social expectations and definitions of home shape personal identity - how she saw the world and her place in it, and to question all she knew.
